Urine Drug Screens
Due to the current crisis in the Nation of prescription medication abuse, it is a requirement that the providers at The Journey Behavioral Health and Wellness conduct drug screens on our clients. Our providers do not view drug screens as a negative, in fact, urine drug screens allow for a strong, trust-based client- provider relationship.
Why do I have to bring my medications with me?
Again, this is about honesty and what is best for you. Our providers are able to talk with you about how you take your medications, review medications and even provide you with an up to date medication list at your visits. All of your medications are recorded and are transferred into your records, even if the medication is not prescribed by our providers.
Understanding your medications, allows our providers to understand all of your medical history and allows them to see the whole picture of our clients.
What is the charge for urine drug screens?
Drug screen charges are included in the price of your visit, there is no additional fee.
